Case 1: (MIDI® Technique)
Case in Brief: Patient presented with a congenitally missing tooth, a condition that impacts 2-5% of the population and often involves one or more of the upper lateral incisors. She came in looking to have the missing tooth replaced.
The Solution: The minimally invasive, computer-guided MIDI technique was used to place a dental implant and affix an immediate temporary tooth the same day. When it was time to place the permanent crown, a prior crown on the opposite lateral incisor was also replaced to create a consistent and balanced smile.
Case 2: (MIDI® Technique)
Case in Brief: Sal had a sports-related accident resulting in an upper front tooth being broken off below the gum line. The fractured tooth was non-restorable and needed to be extracted.
The Solution: Using the latest technology and MIDI technique, the Amsterdam Dental Group developed a meticulous step-by-step, case specific treatment plan including an implant with temporary fixed tooth that same day.
Case 3:
Case in Brief: A 30 year old female patient presented to our office after completing orthodontic and periodontal therapy to correct severe crowding and periodontal disease. While the results of the orthodontic treatment did resolve many of her problems, she was left with unattractive front teeth due to spacing and shortening of two of the incisors.
The Solution: Treatment with all ceramic crowns not only stabilized her front teeth, but also created a beautiful smile.
Case 4:
Case in Brief: Patient needed to replace missing back teeth and correct a collapsed bite. She was also looking for an improved smile.
The Solution: Hopeless back teeth were extracted and eight (8) dental implants placed. The bite and her smile were restored using all ceramic bridges and crowns. Posterior bridges and crowns were placed on dental implants; anterior crowns were placed on natural teeth.
Case 5:
Case in Brief: Patient required fractured tooth replaced and chipped incisor repaired.
The Solution: Remaining root was extracted then an implant was placed and restored with all ceramic crown. The chipped incisor was repaired with cosmetic bonding and tooth whitening was performed to enhance the smile.
Case 6:
Case in Brief: Patient had extremely severe gum disease and the teeth could not be retained. She was also looking for an improved smile.
The Solution: Over the course of two visits, all teeth were extracted then twelve (12) dental implants placed and restored with immediate fixed temporary replacements. The patient was never without teeth. After a suitable healing period to allow the bone to fuse with the implants, final all ceramic bridges were fabricated.
Case 7:
Case in Brief: Niki was in an accident riding her bicycle in Center City, leaving a mouthful of broken and loose teeth. The oral surgeons at Jefferson Hospital splinted the loosened teeth and referred Niki back to Amsterdam Dental Group. The goal was to preserve Niki’s original teeth.
The Solution: Temporary crowns were initially put in place to allow the gums and teeth to heal. A root canal treatment was required because the accident trauma had devitalized one tooth. Utilizing digital impressions and CAD/CAM laboratory technology, Niki’s original teeth were restored with aesthetic all-ceramic crowns.
Case 8:
Case in Brief: Patient had extremely severe gum disease and the teeth could not be retained. She was also looking for an improved smile.
The Solution: Over the course of two visits, all teeth were extracted then twelve (12) dental implants placed and restored with immediate fixed temporary replacements. The patient was never without teeth. After a suitable healing period to allow the bone to fuse with the implants, final all ceramic bridges were fabricated.
